Vastu shastra could be defined as the placement of different parts of the houses to mitigate the planetary forces and their impact on our lives. According to the Vastu, the homes are designed and are considered to be the Indian system of architecture development in India.
In ancient times, it was considered that Vastu influences our lives, and hence the construction of the house should take place according to the Vastu shastra. This was done to ensure health, wealth, and so on.

In a nutshell, it could be said that the rich became richer and the poor continued to live in a deplorable state. This, however, has no relevance in the modern Vastu shastra. With time and changing social norms and the systems, the Vastu Shastra has evolved.
It has become inclusive and diverse and is accepted and adopted by everyone for its architecture system.
Unlike the traditional Vastu shastra, the modern Vastu shastra does not discriminate among the people according to their stature in society. Done were the days when one person used to rule over the other people. This is so because its importance is well known in the Indian system. Else if you have plans to work in foreign countries then you do not necessarily have to opt for it.
