General aptitude test has been carefully drafted by the department to help the institution and student alike understand his/her existing creative skills. The candidate’s abilities will be assessed through different testing formats giving maximum priority to how each task is approached. The nature of this test would be more qualitative, giving candidates the opportunity to put their problem solving and creative thinking skills to use.

Entrance exams made me nervous most of the time. What's it gonna be or how it's gonna be is something that crosses everyone's mind. While giving GAT for JD Institute I realised that It was a unique way of getting our hidden talents out, setting our mind towards a goal and to have fun while showing our creativity.
Hey I'm Kriti and I recently applied for masters in interior design from JD institute.The selection process is as unique as their curriculum. It sets the right exception about the institute as the interview process was both challenging and fun at the same time. Whenever we hear about exam, it scares us as to what will happen or what type of questions will be asked? I was nervous but at the same time I was excited for it. The GAT (General Aptitude Test) not just gave me an opportunity to confidently showcase my talent but also learn and explore more from others. The interview made me sure of my decision and the teachers guided me throughout the interview. Can't wait to start my journey with JD institute! Looking forward for the same experiences throughout the course!
The JD GAT Entrance Exam was very well conducted. It gave the faculty and admissions team a clear vision of students and students too got a chance to interact during the personal interview. I'm really thankful to the admissions team to clear my doubts
My experience for GAT was really great. Although I was really nervous before the interview but once I was called I felt at ease, the teacher who was taking our interview was very polite and generous. I'm very excited to start a new phase of my life with jd institute.
The mode of the exam was online, it was a very simple exam where I was asked to create a mood board regarding current pandemic situation.Overall it was a nice experience.
Giving GAT was really a very great experience for me.....we got the opportunity to learn about so many things over there. Our HOD Mr. Ankur Gulati and all the faculty members were guiding us that what actually Fashion Designing is all about and also made us so comfortable and relaxed regarding the GAT as initially we were tensed that what we all are going to do but they told us that they are just conducting GAT to check the creativity of their students and are not here for judging them. GAT was followed by a PI(Personal Interview) round which was also very good. And currently I'm a Jedian and enjoying all of my classes! Priyansha AgrawalHKV PGFD/C BATCH'21
When it comes to talking abt future we should always go with our passion or u may say our dreams and thats what I did by going in jd institute of fashion technology and gave my aptitude test which was a fun and enjoyable experience with that I was able to showcase my art and creativity skills in a better format and the interview session was really great with the teachers there and made me feel more confident about working on my skills in the field of interior designing and I would love to contribute in it with all my dedication
