I am Neha Sharma, a jewelry designer by profession now. As a student of jewelry design stream at JD Institute of Fashion Technology, I have learned from the basics of designing like designing manually, designing with CAD, Costume Jewelry Designing and about Gems. I am really happy that I have learnt all aspects of designing. The college extensively motivated me to participate in designing competitions. This helped me grow my perspective of design. I am an interior designer from JD Institute of Fashion Technology. My experience here at JD Institute of Fashion Technology was super amazing. I have done a three year diploma in interior designing. I got the perfect faculties who were always present to guide me for anything and everything, be it academics or any personal issues. They stood by me like my pillar of strength. I was extremely lucky to have the helpful classmates who always helped me. I am an average student still I worked hard to achieve to reach the goals. I got a perfect atmosphere to grow as an individual, at JD Institute. It was second home for me. I have participated in all the tasks given by the faculties which groomed me. I even got placement as an interior designer, through college in a leading German multinational company. Being at JD was a life changing experience for me.

My experience at college was really great. The campus and people were fun and exciting as I had heard a lot about the college before applying to study here. All that I had heard came true, as I have learned so much about the design process through some great teachers at the college. Applying new concepts and exploring new things were always encouraged and appreciated. I had a great experience working for The Fashion Awards - the annual design awards which bring out the best in us when we apply our designs, concepts and knowledge to create a piece of art. It was a great experience and I will cherish these days always. I am also thankful to the placement department for providing me with placement with a renowned interior design company.
