There are Mainly Three Different Kinds of Balance:

Symmetrical balance: Traditional or formal spaces ask for a more symmetrical balance where space is evenly split between two sides that look alike and mirror each other. For example, if one places two chairs on either side of a coffee table then it is said to be symmetrically balanced. This kind of balance type is very easy to achieve as the design elements present in the space are repeated on either side. Asymmetrical balance: In asymmetrical balance, the visual weights of different colours, lines, colours, forms, and textures are balanced without exact duplication in the elements of interior designing.
