The above quote defines the design philosophy of Jaroi Interiors, a one-stop solution for entire interior designing needs. Interior Design students of JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Hauz Khas Village spent a day at the elegant showroom of Jaroi Interiors with an aim to have an interactive session with the designers to understand in detail about materials, plyboards, hardwares and finishes that make the furniture aesthetically beautiful and functionally durable.

Students had a long discussion with the designer to understand how to make interiors technologically superior. They learnt about the advantages of factory manufactured furniture that is fully assembled at site. They also learnt about smear press technology for better finishing of shutters.  Designer explained to them the concept of using both side laminated plywood to make them waterproof.  They also learnt about high quality hafele/ hettich accessories and fittings.

It was an extremely fruitful day for the students where they learnt about nitty-gritty of interior design in a practical way. JD Institute believes in immersive learning methods. Undergraduate Interior Design Diploma programs are for one year and three year durations while Post Graduate Interior Design diploma is of two years duration. These courses are very well researched and are designed to challenge students to go beyond their limits. We also give them exposure to a broad spectrum of techniques and materials as well as help them grasp new approaches and processes in interior design through field visits and workshops.
