I come from a place which is considered one of the most desolate far fledged and yet most militarised areas in India. I belong to Kargil Ladakh that was as we all know of it a war zone. Our place faces a total shut down of six months due to the heavy snowfall and this is the reason why we are cut off from the nation for half of the year. We used to face problems like electricity shortage to that of internet unavailability although considering it was the 21st century. I was born during a war to the end of 90s, so I know and I have lived the word chaos and as we speak art thrives in the places of chaos. I was a regular science student and had plans to become either a doctor or a scientist as it was considered the most elite jobs around. From the beginning, I was Doodling drawing and painting stuff and was also thinking of becoming an artist. I just didn’t want my art to die. When I finished my boards I came to Delhi for admissions and I got admitted to a college where I studied zoology. I continued my degree and I graduated but on the side, I always kept the artist alive. I was working as a Freelancer model for a few companies and a dancer, this is where I got to know about the industry. At this point, I was working as a full-time artist as I was trying to learn every art form possible and I wanted to create, to design, to work for people and to make everything look pleasing. All these years working as a model a dancer, a musician and a full-time artist taught me that whatever I did It’s my creativity that’s helping my mind to be at peace. So after a gap year, I thought let’s give it a shot and I opted for an interior designer course as I think that the places where we spend most of our time being homes or offices and the place where we lounge, let’s make them beautiful and pleasing to the mind. JD is helping me get closer to my dreams and let’s all work together for our growth and if you grow and become a better person you can help others in need.
