Being a part of the fashion industry gives one the liberty to choose where they want to work, way before the pandemic people in this industry would work from their homes or offices it is always up to where the person finds their spot, where they can focus and create.

2. Creativity –

It is a field for creative people and one can do their work the way they want, there are no restrictions and boundaries which makes it so much better for a person with a creative mind.

3. Networking –

In the industry, one gets hands-on experience with many people and the best in the business get to be a part of teams that others cannot hence if you’re good enough you will get to work with many people across the globe, you may also make meaningful connections and collaborate with them in future. Not to forget these connections do take you places you wouldn’t have imagined.

4. Self-Employment –

In the fashion industry, when one gets hands-  knowledge of how to get things done and how they function the most lucrative option present is to work for themselves, being one’s boss is what everyone wants right? So, take matters into your hands and create a portfolio that attracts clients, and next, you’re ready to open your own company. 1. Keeping one updated constantly – 

People in the fashion industry have to constantly keep on updating themselves with new trends and designs as trends, patterns, designs, consumer taste, and preferences change quite quickly hence keeping oneself updated is quite a tedious and pervasive task.

2. Creativity –

Even though we talked about creativity as a plus point of this industry, it can become a con as soon as one starts showing a lack of creativity and starts making repetitive designs or just doesn’t follow the new changes in trends or consumer preferences, it could even result in losing one’s job.

3. Technological Changes –

In this ever-evolving era Fashion designers also have faced the brunt of technology taking their place, with the onset of artificial intelligence in the future it may be tried to make designs by robots, however, let’s not get that far. The majority of problems designers face till now due to technology are that clients ask them to create using new gadgets so that they can view the artwork easily and see it come to life without even actually applying it.

4. Self-Employment –

One thing which at times becomes boring is on some days you’d have not much work to do but on some days one would have so much work to do that they would be buried in work and these Inconsistent work hours are common in this industry, as one will only have work when a client asks them for something, also when a client asks for something it gets difficult to match the deadlines, hence the pay also varies along with work, on some months it’s more while on some of it’s a bit low.  

5. Responsibility for making a good start –

While a fashion designer can create art so good that he could even be worshipped, sometimes the exact opposite happens, critics are there in every field but when a person takes them in a wrong way or their artwork is not what they visualized or dreamt of, such mistakes in design can ruin the whole product. It is a bitter truth but it has happened so many times, as designers are at the start of the long chain. If they are not able to perform their task well the whole product may eventually fail.
