A known charismatic personality who touched the lives of innumerable people with his exuberance, simplicity and knack for creating change. A mentor and guide by profession, whose legacy is reflected in his ensemble of knowledge and JD Institute’s exemplary success. Mr Dalal’s dream of ‘JD’ being acknowledged at a global level, has transcended into a reality.

He believes the Indian fashion industry has tremendous potential to grow and contribute towards a sustainable future. He committed himself to many CSR activities and was awarded “The Hero of Animals” by Poorva Joshipura, Vice President of International Affairs, PETA, the UK for his contribution to animal-friendly fashion.

His interest majorly lay in promoting the art, craft and culture of India on the international platform. Under his aegis, JD Institute organized a number of exhibitions, shows and various networking events to promote their talent and designs to the world of Fashion. One of such milestones includes the participation of JD Institute at Bollywood Festival Norway as the Fashion Partner.

His love for Fashion and his aim to take his country to new heights made him consort for India Fashion Week, London along with Mr Manny Singh in the year 2015. To honour Mr RC Dalal for all his efforts, contribution, association and dedication to supporting India Fashion week and taking it to new heights, the “RC DALAL MEMORIAL AWARD” was instituted to confer the top designer talent at the India Fashion Week, November 2017.
