I hail from a smart city in Uttar Pradesh called the city of brass. Right after my high school, I took a traditional path of choosing a career and completed bachelors and masters in Business Administration. By the end of my masters, I got a job, I was making good money. And, I wasn’t happy, I was surprised to know that a decent degree with a decent job wasn’t enough, I started looking for what went wrong. And why wasn’t I happy? Suddenly, I realised that I was a part of the rat race and there’s no finish line. I got caught up in this cycle of consumption and there’s nothing that I could do to improve my quality of life. It was then, I came across an article on JD Institute of Fashion Technology, that spoke about following one’s passion. It takes great courage to go after what you truly want to do in life. It was then I saw the light. I knew I wanted to study design. I was willing to go above and beyond to master it. At JD, I was finally able to reach the pinnacle of success, it is that much more enjoyable knowing you got there doing something you love.
I am now doing wonders in the field of design. I am almost about to fabulously finish my design studies and start my label.
Many people go about this the wrong way because they feel that work is something that they have to do out of duty. Only when you accept the fact that your career should be something that you can die for, it is then you lead a happy and fulfilling life.
