Enthusiastic students of JD Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, attended a workshop on making wearable pieces of jewellery that they can treasure forever. Every girl loves to wear ornaments but nothing can beat the high of wearing something that they have created themselves with a lot of love and passion.

As part of a series of DIY craft workshops, students were guided through a carefully structured tutorial. They learnt every step of the process, revealing how to translate inspired ideas into workable, wearable fashion jewellery. They created pendants and ear ornaments using a variety of techniques like stringing, carving, molding and creating textures.

Delicate danglers, chunky pendants were created which were pretty, vibrant and trendy. Students also learnt how to give the jewellery pieces a worn out, oxidized look.

Craft workshops at JD institute are enriched with technique, tradition and variety. It is a journey of exploring, discovering and expressing creativity and talent. Students also learn useful life skills like focus, precision, perseverance which will make them better at their work in future.
