How Vastu Can Help You to Sleep Well

Monday, April 5th, 2021

Vastu Shastra, which literally translates to “the science of architecture,” sets out the design, layout, measurements, ground planning, space arrangement, and spatial geometry concepts for a home or any built-up structure; it may also incorporate traditional Hindu (and even Buddhist) religious beliefs. Vastu theories offer ideas and concepts for creating a living space that is in tune with nature, rather than being limited to rigid layout diagrams and incorporating geometric patterns, symmetry, and directional alignments.

Vastu Shastra ideas and concepts are models for organising space and shape within a room or a group of rooms or structures based on their functions in relation to one another, as well as their purpose and use. Although Vastu Shastra provides advice and guidance for the design of all rooms in a house, including the bedroom, kitchen, dining room, playroom, home office, prayer room, and outdoor spaces, its science has also been extended to the construction of cities, townships, parks, highways, waterworks, and other large public spaces. Vastu Shastra considers a house to be a living soul, and it strives to achieve maximum positive energy by balancing the five elements (earth, fire, water, space, and air). Each home or living space has its energy, and in order to be harmonious and peaceful, a house must radiate the right kind of energy. At the end of the day, the energy of the home will have an effect on each living member’s mental health.

Vastu for bedrooms is an excellent way to ensure that you get a good night’s sleep and are ready to face the day. If you’re having trouble sleeping or experience negative sounds in your bedroom, it may be time to give your space a much-needed makeover based on Vastu Shastra principles.

Vastu shastra tips or remedies for you to follow are:

The direction of the bedroom, according to Vastu

  • The master bedroom should be in the home’s southwest corner, as it is associated with good health, longevity, and prosperity.
  • The guest bedroom or your children’s bedroom will benefit from a northwest orientation.
  • Bedrooms in the southeast or northeast corners should be avoided at all costs, as they can cause health problems and domestic strife.

Shape, position and bed position, according to Vastu

  • Place the bed in the southwest corner of the room. Make sure your head is in the south or east while you’re sleeping. This is how the body consumes positive energy. According to Vastu, sleeping with your head in the north is a no-no.
  • It is suggested that the bed be made of wood and shaped in either a square or rectangular shape.
  • Avoid putting the bed directly under a beam. If you just can’t help yourself, a false ceiling for the bedroom is a bright idea.
  • Ensure the bed isn’t too close to the walls; it needs to be open from both sides.

Wardrobes, mirrors and dressers

  • Wardrobes should be placed in the southwest corner of the bedroom, with the door swinging open to the east or south.
  • In the bedroom, mirrors do not face the bed. According to Vastu, seeing a reflection of your sleeping self is not considered auspicious. Mirrors look fantastic on the northern or eastern walls.
  • Keep your valuables facing north, as this is where Kuber, the Lord of Riches, lives.
  • Do you have a mirror on your dresser? Instead of facing the bed, place the dresser next to it.
  • Declutter your bedroom and just hold things that will benefit you. If your bed has a storage option, fill it with useful objects (as well as those that bring back happy memories), so you can get a good night’s sleep.

Is your space located in the northeast? Here are a few options to consider. Use lavender incense or essential oil in the room to combat Vastu defects in the northeast. A bowl of sea salt may also be placed in the room to help balance the Vastu dosh. The presence of Lord Ganesh or Goddess Lakshmi in the room would infuse it with positive energy.

How Vastu Brings Health & Prosperity in Homes

Saturday, April 3rd, 2021

Vastu Shastra is necessary for the construction of any building, from residential to commercial, and owners may achieve prosperity and happiness by properly placing the five elements (earth, water, air, fire, and space). Directions are also crucial in the science of architecture. According to the teachings, honouring and idolising the God of the Eight Directions (North, South, East, West, North-East, South-East, South-West, North-West) brings success, health, and prosperity into our lives.

Vastu tips for kitchen

  • Although the kitchen’s southeast orientation is perfect, bright colour combinations help to trigger the fire components.
  • To brighten this area of the building, select shades of yellow, light pink, peach, or brown. Avoiding colours of black or red would be beneficial.
  • Food must be prepared in a positive atmosphere because it gives us energy. As a result, the chef must cook with his or her back to the East in order to maintain good health.
  • Keep the cooking gas burner to the southeast, the washbasin or sink to the northeast and the grain or spice jars to the south or west.
  • Keep the kitchen slab and utensils clean at all times. Before going to bed, clean them.

Vastu Tips for Bedroom

We need our regular dose of good sleep to wake up refreshed, so the bedroom is the most important part of our house. Sleeping in the wrong place will make you sick. As a consequence, to Vastu-proof this space, follow these simple guidelines:

  • Maintain south or west-facing bed, especially in the master bedroom. This means that the legs are facing north or east. It encourages mental well-being, prosperity, and even better sleep quality.
  • Mirrors should never face the bed, which means they should not be reflected in your sleep. As a result, put them on the north or west walls.
  • Colours like red/pink, orange, white, and brown reflect warmth, ambition, harmony, and stability (respectively).
  • Instead of having windows behind the bunk, consider putting them on the eastern or northern walls.

Tips for Toilet or Bathroom

Toilets and toilets, according to ancient architecture science, are the most important sources of harmful energy entering the home. As a consequence, they must only be built according to Vastu Shastra. Here are some important sanitation tips:

  • Toilets and bathrooms must be located in the northwest corner of the house, never sharing a wall with the kitchen or the Pooja room, and never under the stairs.
  • Since the toilet is used to dispose of waste, it should not be installed somewhere other than the west or northwest.
  • Soft pastel colours like yellow, grey and light blue are appropriate for toilets.
  • You could use the north or east wall for mirrors, and your washbasin could be placed accordingly.
  • Avoid the southeast or southwest corner of the space if there is an attached toilet.

Tips for Room of Worship

The Pooja room should be in the north, east, or northeast direction at all times. When praying, keep your back to the east/north wall. Did you know that no idols should be present in the pooja-ghar? If you want to keep them, make sure they aren’t cracked or chipped. Here are some more ideas to make it your home’s most prosperous corner:

  • If your home has several floors, the pooja-ghar should be constructed on the ground floor; however, it should never be built in the basement.
  • If the idols must be held in the pooja space, they must not face east or the door, and they must not be placed against a wall.
  • The room should be used solely for the purpose of worshipping God. Avoid storing too much stuff in or around the pooja ghar that you don’t need.
  • White, blue, yellow, or any other soothing colour family should be used in this space.

According to conventional philosophy, any entity in a house emits energy, either positive or negative, and the person who lives there is influenced by that energy. If it is negative, it can lead to defeats, relationship failures, poor financial transactions, and much more; if it is good, it can lead to satisfaction, enlightenment, and efficiency. As a result, for safe and happy families, it is critical to concentrate on key Vastu elements.

If you are someone who is interested in Vastu shastra, the JD Institute of Fashion Technology is one of the best institutes with a legacy of 30 years providing Vastu Shastra course, which will help the aspiring designers to understand how energy levels can impact spaces and vice versa. What are the Trending Technology in Apparel Manufacturing

Friday, April 2nd, 2021

Fashion advances at a rapid pace, and garment manufacturing technology must keep up. Apparel producers have been able to meet the demands of their customers thanks to advancements in apparel machinery technology. At FDM4, we agree that the best garment manufacturing technologies are those that are explicitly developed to meet the needs of the apparel industry. Let’s take a look at some of the most trending innovations in the apparel industry and see how these systems can be integrated into garment manufacturers’ operations:

Trending technology in apparel manufacturing

As demonstrated by current trending technology in apparel manufacturing, the future of apparel manufacturing technology appears bright. Brand design is being revolutionized by artificial intelligence. Technology is being used to streamline manufacturing supply chains in order to speed up production, promote direct-to-consumer distribution, redefine in-store and online shopping experiences, and develop customized goods for individual customers. Machine learning, supply chain improvements, rapid data analytics, 3D capabilities, and personalized production runs are five common trending technologies in apparel manufacturing today.

  • Rise of Robotic Manufacturing

There is no replacement for hand-stitched garments in certain cases. In the fashion industry, a qualified professional’s level of attention to detail will yield a level of quality that is priceless. Machine learning, on the other hand, is improving apparel design by eliminating manual interference at crucial stages of development. Advanced technologies, such as laser cutting machines, buttonhole machines, and fusing machines, are replacing obsolete methods, such as conventional sewing machines, in robotic manufacturing.

  • Streamlined Supply Chains

Maintaining a strong presence in the apparel industry needs short lead times, timely delivery, and flawless goods. A single hiccup in your supply chain may result in production or delivery delays, causing sales and growth to suffer. You will actively avoid mishaps and monitor the flow of output by streamlining the supply chain in as many ways as possible. You will eliminate possible production delays and disruptions by keeping the majority of the supply chain processes in-house, including material procurement, packaging, and shipping.

  • Instant Data Analysis

Consumer purchasing habits are affected by fashion trends, which drive the apparel industry. To stay on top of which styles and patterns customers want, you need to be able to pull reports quickly and evaluate output data quickly so you can respond to their needs. Every day, new software that integrates cloud computing with manufacturing processes to provide comprehensive data to all parties in your supply chain is being developed. This enables all departments and stakeholders to receive and discuss data instantly.

  • 3D Technology

Industries all over the world are being transformed by 3D modeling and printing. These cutting-edge machines can quickly produce personalized items out of a variety of materials. Anything from T-shirts and trousers to shoes and hats can be printed on demand when incorporated into garment manufacturing technology.3D modeling, on the other hand, will provide a more realistic representation of how the finished product will appear, enabling designers to manipulate the design in real-time to ensure that the final product meets the design’s requirements.

  • Customized and Sustainable Production

3D printing has also resulted in the success of manufacturing personalized garments using environmentally friendly methods. Customers want apparel that is tailored to their personal style and size. Made-to-order items are marketed before they are manufactured, giving the retailer the advantage of a guaranteed sale before investing in the garment’s production.

How to Apply New Technology?

  • Assess Your Supply Chain

You must first analyze the entire supply chain to find any current or future issues before deciding to incorporate manufacturing technology into your operations. These areas of improvement may be internal or difficult to identify since some processes depend on third-party vendors.

  • Identify Viable Garment Manufacturing Technology Solutions.

Many American apparel companies etc., are turning to automation to reclaim their dominance in garment production and distribution. Although different manufacturing technologies help these companies accomplish their objectives, not all software solutions are appropriate for your supply chain. Discover how these production technologies can solve your problems as you shop for apparel manufacturing technology, and keep in mind any potential disadvantages that implementing these solutions can cause.

Importance of the Main Door According to Vastu Shastra

Thursday, April 1st, 2021

In the Vastu Shastra, the house’s main entrance’s orientation plays a vital role as the family’s entry point to enter and a source for the entry point for the positive energy to enter into the house. Today, JD Institute is bringing you some Vastu Shastra tips that you must keep in mind whenever you plan to build your home. Vastu Shastra for home plays a significant role in bringing well being into the family.

  • The Direction of the Main Door

Parmar suggests that – Since these directions are considered auspicious, the main door should always be in the north, north-east, east, or west. The main door should not be facing south, south-west, north-west (north side), or south-east (east side). A lead metal pyramid and a lead helix may be used to correct a door in the south or south-west. A brass pyramid and a brass helix can be used to correct a door facing north-west, while a copper helix can be used to correct a door facing south-east.

  • Materials Used for the Main Door
  • The door made up of wood is considered to be the best for the house’s main entrance.
  • South direction- The door should be made with a combination of wood and metal.
  • West- The door should be made up of metal.
  • North- The door should be of silver colour.
  • East- The door should be made up of wood accompanied by some trimmings.
  • Main door and its visibility as per Vastu

Now, another Vastu Shastra tip suggested by JD Institute is regarding the visibility of the main door. According to it, the visibility of the main entrance should be prominent, visible and easily identifiable. In addition to this, add your name and the house number on the door to make it even good. But the Vastu Shastra suggests that you should also have a simple nameplate containing your credentials. Keep in mind that the door should be seven ft in height with a width of at least three ft. Big doors transport in more get-up-and-go into the house.

  • Decoration of area around the main door

It is essential to keep the door clean to have positive energy entered into the house. Spotlessness, particularly around the central doorway, attracts constructive power in the home. Do not keep dustbins, not working chairs or stools, near the main door, cautions. It is believed that the main entrance should be made up of wood or marble because these help in absorbing any kind of negative vibes into the house. Further, you should decorate it with sacred symbols like Om, swastika, cross, etc., and put rangolis on the flooring, as they are well-thought-out favourable and invite good fortune.

Do’s and Don’ts, According to Vastu Shastra.

Next, Vastu Shastra tip is regarding the dos and don’ts. And they are-

  •   Lighting at the main door

It is advised only to have a dazzling light at the entrance but keep away from red-coloured illuminations. The most crucial door should be well-lit in the twilight, and proper light should be there around the main gate.

  •    Decoration at the main door

It is advised to decorate the entrance with green plants if you find any vacant spaces around the door. Torans are also good quality as decorations for the main door should decorate the main entrance area.

  •   Positioning of the main door

According to the Vastu Shastra, the main door should open at 90 degrees without any obstacles around it. Also, guarantee that it unlocks in a clockwise direction and that the hinges are oiled regularly, and the door accessories are polished. There should not be any broken material or any other cracked thing around the door because they are not considered suitable for the house.

  •    Nameplate and Vastu

As stated above, always put up a nameplate. A metal nameplate is a must if the door is in the north or west direction. Also, use a wooden nameplate if the entrance is in the south or east way.

  •     The excellence of wood to be worn in the main door

It is advised to use only advanced quality wood, and a reminder is to be made that this door’s height should be superior to other entries in your dwelling.

  •     Main doors and bathrooms

Also, keep in mind that the bathrooms should not be placed close to the main door.

  •    Colour of the main door

According to Vastu Shastra, the colour of the main door should be light.

What to Shun at the Central Doorway of the House?

There are few things that JD Institute has discovered, according to Vastu Shastra, which you should not ever do in front of your main door of the house, and they are-

  •  Do not place any shoe racks.
  • You need to check the property’s layout carefully and continuously build your house in the proper place.
  •  You need to look into the nature and kind of doors
  • There should not be any placement of septic tanks at the entrance of the main gate.
  •     Do check the placement of the main door.
  •     You need to ensure that there is proper Lighting near the main entrance
  •     There should be a well-decorated Foyer space.
  •      Never place an imitation contradictory to the main door.

The Best Position to Place the Main Door

Last but not least, the placing of the main entrance is essential. For this, JD Institute has researched according to Vastu Shastra and have formulated the following-

How Digitalisation of Apparel Manufacturing Can Lead to Better Efficiencies

Thursday, April 1st, 2021

The Evolvement of Digital Transformation in the Apparel Industry:

The journey of digital transformation starts from automated machinery, passing IoT integration and aiming at the coordination of ecosystems. It is one of the longest journeys across all industries which all starts from advancement in hardware technology. The invention of the sewing machine in the apparel industry was one of the most important steps toward digital transformation.

In order to further decrease the labour density, the hardware evolvement was applied to different technologies such as a data collective sewing machine or a smarter AI-driven cutting laser.

On the other hand, there are another group of players too who develop different software and IoT solutions in order to manage the supply chain and the factory operation. The second stage of this evolutionary process usually takes most of the time. Thus, the players of the hardware and software do not have much connection and linkage with each other.

The third stage of players would start to integrate in the systems of the apparel manufacturing supply chain only if the level of development is similarly equivalent between hardware and software.

The integration of both hardware and software would maximise the power of the data. This would further enhance the efficiency of the manufacturing production. Manufacturing production is the field towards which the apparel industry is currently moving. Some of the hardware players are even providing integrated solutions for various apparel factories.

In the near future, the supply chain of the whole industry will be coordinated into a software system that is linked with the hardware. This would not only cover the production line but also each stakeholder in the ecosystem such as logistics and retail. AI based technology is expected to enhance the system in both the softwares and hardwares. This step is the fourth stage towards the evolvement of Digital Transformation in the apparel industry ecosystem coordination.

The process of pre-production is mainly for material sourcing and preparation. This has a lower level of digitalization as of now because the cost of the materials differs by brands and countries. The main process to be digitized is a production which takes most of the product cost. In this process, different technologies in the hardware and software can be applied and updated. This particular leads to the creation of various integrated solutions in order to ensure that the real-time information can be noted down for analysis of every process.

Scope of Digitalisation of Production Process in the Apparel Industry:

The production process mostly covers pattern and cutting, sewing, and checking and rework in the factory supply chain. It is also the process that has the most potential to be digitalised.

  • Pattern & Cutting: The hardware machinery is exposed to a number of developments and inventions during the first stage of the manufacturing process. Computer NC machines (CNC machines) and supporting programs such as CAD/CAM make continuous cutting possible. However, if the focus in the production process is only on the cutting technology then, there are ways and tools such as knives, water jets, lasers, ultrasound and plasma depending on different cutting styles.

Therefore, one of the main areas of current innovation in cutting is related to much-elaborated sub-functions or supplementary assistance to the already existing cutting technology. This can in return increase the productivity, versatility and pattern-matching capability.

Meanwhile, the pattern matching capability is one of the most time-consuming and labour-consuming processes before the actual garment-making process takes place. The pattern matching process will also produce a lot of waste that comprises unnecessary material between rough and fine cutting. In order to improve the accuracy of the pattern with less percentage of waste then, the onscreen image projection on the fabric surface before cutting is the right choice. Fabric optimization during pattern making and then cutting should be highly taken care of.

  • Sewing Hardware: Sewing represents almost 35 to 40 percent of the total apparel manufacturing cost. It gives another big opportunity to the apparel manufacturing factories to control their cost. Up till previous decades, sewing manufacturing factories were located in developing countries. However, this strategy proves to be harder to maintain because more and more brands are planning to centralize their production line.

Therefore, digitalization is one of the new approaches to reduce the apparel manufacturing cost in the long run, especially during the post-COVID-19 times. The production process of sewing can be further divided into two sub-functions – handling of the material and joining of the fabric components. The material handling process in the apparel manufacturing industry indicates the process of transporting work from one place to another. This includes lifting, moving, mounting, repositioning, and storing of work in progress.

  • Hardware + IoT: In addition to the process of digitizing hardware, the integration of this with the IoT is also one of the popular approaches in the sewing process. Many apparel manufacturing industries of India have introduced IoT sewing machine lines in their factories.
  • Integrated Software: Although, there are only a few mature hardware players which introduced their IoT solutions towards digitalisation. But there are more solution providers that are joining in the competition from the perspective of the software. The high awareness among the industry players would help them to introduce their digitalisation solution into the market.

“A frog in a well cannot discuss the ocean, because he is limited by the size of his well. A summer insect cannot discuss ice, because it knows only its own season. A narrow-minded scholar cannot discuss the Tao, because he is constrained by his teachings
I am a fashion enthusiast, who is into colors, weaves, drapes, patterns. but my knowledge is very limited. with all this struggle I entered into the middle age with no acquired knowledge in this subject. when I opted to join this course I didn’t know anything. I thought that ‘fashion as design means they might teach fashions and designs, like a crow with one eye view I saw two words fashion and design and jumped into this course. but here the scenario is entirely different.
Since 9/10th grade i was fascinated towards becoming a radio jockey but never considered sketching as profession. after enrolled for BCOM i finally start taking interest in sketching/design and my gut feelings on this was strong so after researching for so many colleges i got to know about my ‘paradise’ JD INSTITUTE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY #jd

How to Write a Professional Resume

Wednesday, March 31st, 2021

Is it necessary for you to write or update your resume in order to apply for a job? A resume is a document that describes your qualifications, experience, skills, and achievements and is used to apply for employment.

Your resume is a glimpse into your career experience and one of the most valuable documents in your job search because it gives a hiring manager an important first impression.

Select the Most Suitable Resume for Your Job Experience

It’s a good idea to figure out which form of resume can highlight your strengths and accomplishments before you start writing your resume. Similarly, when examining models and examples, choose the format that best suits your needs.

A resume for an entry-level employee, for example, varies greatly from that for a mid-career professional. Recent graduates can need to demonstrate their credentials and potential instead of relying on their work history to make a strong argument for their job candidacy.

Basic resumes

There is a resume format that will make your credentials shine no matter what kind of job experience you have. If you have a large gap in jobs since your last job, a functional resume might be preferable to a chronological resume. Decide on the right format for you.

  • One page resume

Most employers want a resume that is succinct and free of unnecessary detail. They just look at it for a few seconds, so the shorter it is, the better it will be for the hiring manager or recruiter to look at. Furthermore, many companies use software to screen work application materials, so making sure your resume is tailored to the position you’re applying for will improve your chances of being picked for an interview.

How to keep your resume short or concise

Create a list of what you have- Start by making a list of your achievements and job experiences if you’re having trouble condensing your resume to one page. Create a comprehensive list of your duties and accomplishments. Make an effort to include a wide range of skills that have contributed to success in each position.

Match your expertise to the work specifications-Analyze each job you’re thinking of applying for and circle the statements that most closely match the job’s specifications. Make a targeted, shorter version of your resume by incorporating the most appropriate statements.

Starting with a long start and progressively cutting the length-It’s likely that the first draft would be longer than one sentence. If that’s the case, aim to delete statements that don’t include enough proof about how you’d be a good choice for the job before you’re down to one page. Try to be as precise as possible when listing details and as succinct as possible when writing.

Keep the job descriptions short and sweet by using a bulleted list- Concentrate on your achievements rather than your everyday duties.

Remove any years you don’t need- Even if you have a lot of experience, your resume should only have 10 to 15 years of experience on it.

  • Functional resume

Functional resumes are great for people who don’t have a lot of relevant work experience for the position they’re applying for. Consider using a functional resume if you’re changing jobs, are new to the industry, or have holes in your work background. Since a functioning resume isn’t sorted by job title, you’ll need a different organizing system. Functional resumes are usually divided into groups based on the skills and credentials. Take cues from the job description on what to highlight in this segment.

What to include in a functional resume

A functional resume does not put a priority on your work history in chronological order. Instead, it emphasizes your strengths and skills:

  • Your skills are typically classified by theme for example Customer Service and Verbal Communication
  • You include concrete examples of projects, activities, and assignments you’ve accomplished that illustrate you have those skills under each theme.

Nonetheless, a functional resume can also contain a brief job history section.

  • Combination resume

In this formal skills are listed first followed by work history . let’s take a look at the example for the same:

Importance of Communication in the Fashion Industry

Wednesday, March 31st, 2021

When someone hears the term ‘Fashion’ or ‘Fashion Communication’, most of us still think that it is all about fashion models or something related to the business of fashion designing and garment manufacturing. However, it is very essential to know that the term also has two other major aspects to the story related to fashion. These two major aspects are: Communicating fashion and communicating through fashion.

Fashion communication entails the development and facilitation of fashion industry communication. It may take the form of verbal, written, visual, or audiovisual communication. Fashion communication is one of the specialized domains of fashion studies that helps aspiring fashion students in learning the communication knowledge and skills relevant to the lifestyle and fashion industry. This type of communication is also the backbone of the whole fashion business line. Fashion communication is one of those newest and most exciting avenues of the fashion and lifestyle industry.

It entails not only studying the fundamentals of communication, but also a comprehensive examination of various fields such as public relations, advertisement, fashion journalism, styling, visual merchandising, illustration, creative writing, and show. Apart from the creative and commercial aspects, the subject also deals with the various concepts of identity and self-expression through fashion and how fashion has become an inevitable part of our daily lives.

Meaning of Fashion Communication:

It becomes extremely important to break and clarify some of the stereotypes and myths related to this subject. Firstly, the term fashion is very subjective, it does not always talk about just clothing. Most of the things that you do to accessories yourself come under fashion. Right from the way you do your hair or makeup to the tattoos and piercings you get on your body to the accessories and footwear that you wear to the bags and sunglasses that you carry. All of these things come under fashion. Fashion contact also involves how you use these fashion accessories to reflect or convey yourself. Fashion contact also includes how someone perceives or receives you.

Let’s not also forget to mention one of the major myths that revolve around the world at all times. The popular belief is that because of fashion, it may be more appropriate for women. Obviously, there is no doubt it that fashion at times can be more appropriate for women but that doesn’t mean that it is more or less appropriate for any other gender. Literally, fashion has nothing to do with your gender. Something that is beautifully evolving in the fashion industry is that it is becoming more flexible and breaking all the stereotypes attached to the industry every day.

The fashion industry today has a beautiful mix of people from all walks of life. The world of fashion is changing all the time, from models with baby bumps to models with skin disorders, from fashion bloggers of various ages and races to professionals of various ethnicities and religions. Even though virtual networking has taken most of the part, manual networking is still an important aspect of networking. It is essential to lead on opportunities at a fashion event, exhibitions to do direct communication. The sooner you understand the mantra, the better it is for you.

  • Fashion Communication: Fashion communication is one of the major essentials required in the fashion industry. It has become a different discipline altogether that is being taught in fashion schools with a formalized curriculum.
