Upon entering Rashtrapati Bhavan, one is instantly fascinated by its grandiose balance and the elaborate embellishments that grace its interiors. The impressive exteriors, adorned with majestic columns and vast open spaces, showcase the architectural genius of Sir Edwin Lutyens, who conceived this enormous structure in the early 1900s. For our Interior Design students, this visit was more than a tour—it was a journey through time, offering a glimpse into India’s illustrious past and its bold visions for the future.
