I am Supriya @itz_cutie_sk from Haryana, and I am the first in my family to pursue fashion designing as a career. Initially, I had no plans to enter the fashion industry as I was focused on preparing for the JEE mains exam. However, after completing my 12th, I took a gap year to concentrate solely on the exam, putting in a lot of effort and dedication. Although I managed to secure a 91 percentile, I felt like it wasn’t enough and was left feeling dejected.

During the lockdown, I explored my creative side and discovered my genuine interest in fashion designing. I researched the best fashion designing colleges in India and found the JD Institute of Fashion Technology. Without hesitation, I applied and was accepted, making my dream come true. Pursuing fashion made me realize that this was my true calling.

It was during this time that I received news of clearing the JEE mains exam with an 87 percentile cut-off score, which felt like a sign that fashion designing was where I was meant to be. Today, I am confident in my decision to pursue fashion designing and excited to explore this field further.

My family and mentors have been a constant source of inspiration and motivation, and I am grateful for their support. I believe that with hard work, dedication, and passion, I can make a mark in the fashion industry and contribute to its growth and evolution.
