Asia’s largest Textile and Garment Exposition-Garment Technologies Expo 2019 was organized at New Delhi from February 22 to 25, 2019. Students of Fashion Business Management and Fashion Designing made it a point to visit the exposition, to update their knowledge on new technology and machinery in the apparel sector.

In the expo, more than 800 well-known companies displayed close to 1200 products related to leather, embroidery, textile, laundry, fusing, printing, fabric, accessories, software solutions and new technologies. There were renowned companies dealing in textile and apparel products & machinery from India and abroad. More than 20 countries showcased their products.

The show covered all segments of the industry right from the latest technology machines to machine spares & consumables; from infrastructure set-up to latest processes and systems; from raw materials to trimmings and embellishments; from logistics and packaging solutions to trade communication and documentation services. New innovations, product launches, product upgrades, live demonstrations and new materials were the center of extra attraction.

Students got first-hand knowledge from manufacturers and experts about different products. The interaction helped them in getting a clear understanding of use and benefits of various machines for faster, more efficient production.
