PASSION IS ENERGY. ONE SHOULD FEEL THE POWER THAT COMES FROM FOCUSSING ON WHAT EXCITES YOU!

My love for fashion was inside me back in school days when we were supposed to decide on what stream to choose or what career path to be on. Since I belong to a Commerce background family, my family believed that I should carry forward the legacy which ended up with me being a B.com (Honors) graduate.

Moving on with my career path, I decided to explore my field and planned to pursue my post-graduation in Accountancy from abroad which was a brave decision for me, and finally, in 2019, I went to Melbourne, Australia for my Higher Education. But unfortunately, due to the sudden outbreak of the pandemic, Melbourne was put on lockdown just like every other country in the world.

That’s when I realized that LIFE IS UNCERTAIN and just because your life changes it doesn’t mean that your deepest passions have to. Pursue your passion and everything else will fall into place. And finally, after a year-long struggle with COVID in a foreign country, I decided to come back to India and follow my passion.

And when we talk about Fashion, JD INSTITUTE OF FASHION TECHNOLOGY automatically comes into the picture because of the quality of image that it holds all over the world. The tagline of this institute which says, “WE SEE WHAT YOU DON’T” does absolute justice to what they offer to their Jediiians.

These people make sure that every student does work to the best of their capacity. I am honestly very proud to be a Jediiian and at the same time, I feel fortunate to be a part of this Institute because today the kind of work that I am doing or the kind of opportunities I have been given has changed me as a person and I like the New Me. I feel that I am using passion in the fullest sense of the word. A big shoutout to the Institute, the faculty, and all the concerned members for motivating students like us to love our passion and follow it.

A very important thing that I would add up here is that in order to be successful or do something big in life, one thing that should be kept in mind is to respect your parents, your family, and thank them for everything they have been doing unconditionally. For me, whatever I am today is only and only because of my grandfather who has been the biggest support system and has helped me pursue all my dreams, be it my post-graduation from abroad or following my passion today.
