On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, students of JD Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, participated in a mega program at Dilli Haat, Pitampura. The event was organized by the Council for Promotion of Trade & Industry, under the leadership of Honourable Member of Parliament, Dr Udit Raj. It was conducted under the banner of “Chaar Saal Bemisaal and Diwali Utsav”. The event proved to be a great mix of festivities and schemes for the people at large.
Talented, young Jediiians showcased their flair for dancing by performing Garba, Bhangra and Rajasthani folk dances on stage. They also showcased a fashion show highlighting women empowerment. They shared the stage with special children who also performed and did a fashion show. The event was inaugurated by Honourable Mr Manoj Tiwari, President of the Bhartiya Janta Party’s Delhi unit.
Dr Udit Raj praised the students of JD Institute of Fashion Technology for their scintillating performances and dedication. Students were presented with a trophy at the event as an appreciation gesture.
